Andy's parents are coming up today and his sister and brother in law are coming over. We look forward to more family time. Ayla really enjoys opening presents so that's a good thing!! At mom and dad's last night she was intrigued!!

The funniest thing she said last night at their house was "Ayla go poop". We all laughed so hard....she's just a goof. Her other favorite thing to say right now is "Dora".

Update on Ayla

Well, she's growing fast and repeating everything we say....it's pretty funny. Her new words are "good job" (which comes out "good bob"), "please" (which is pretty cute, and when she wants something she says "please"), and "stop" (which is something I've realized I say to her when I want her NOT to do something)......she's just a little sponge and it's amazing how they can change so fast.

I am looking forward to having about a week and a 1/2 off of work to spend with her over the holidays. Only 4 more days of work left for me in 2007!!!!!

We seem to have gotten over all of our colds (knock on wood) and ear infections....so we are hoping we can keep healthy for the holidays!

One year appointment

I had Ayla's one year checkup yesterday. Here are her stats:
Weight: 22 lbs 12 ounces
Height: 29 1/4 inches

She of course didn't like the 2 shots that she had....and I hate making her get them! Makes mommy want to cry!!

After that we went home and Auntie Aleigh came over.....and we relaxed!!! It was a nice evening.

I will post some new pics of Ayla soon. Things have been so busy with us. I have a friend getting married on Friday and Andy's sister is getting married on October 6th. We both have been very busy with the weddings and other things. I'll try to get better at keeping this updated!

Birthday party today!

We are having Ayla's 1st birthday party today at 2 PM! I will for sure post pics!! Hard to believe that she will be 1 tomorrow!

Busy week ahead!

Wow, do we have a busy week coming up!! Andy starts a new job at Foth in Green Bay. He is SUPER excited. This is such a wonderful opportunity for him and we are very thrilled.

Then I have to make sure I have everything ready for Ayla's 1 year party on Saturday. She doesn't turn 1 until Sunday but the party is Sat. Then on Sunday we have a garbage can cookout party to go to at one of Andy's parents friends in Markesan. So we have a busy week.

Looking forward to her birthday, but I cannot believe that she is going to be 1 already. Time just goes so fast and she is such a joy and so much fun!

Wisconsin Dells - August 23 & 24

Andy and I decided to take a mini vacation for a night and go to the Dells.....we stayed at the Wilderness Resort. Loved it. Ayla had such a fun time in the water! Here are a few pics:

6 year anniversary

Andy and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary yesterday by enjoying dinner at The Melting Pot. Andy's mom came up to watch Ayla for us....she hasn't seen her in a couple of weeks so she was excited to see her walking.

Andy and I look forward to many more years together! :)

Let's just say.....

....that Ayla is walking now!! The last couple of days she's been just cruising all over and only wants to walk. As soon as she can get to a chair or something to pull herself up on, she's off!!!

Well, Ayla is walking, not 100% of the time....but last saturday she was standing my the recliner in the living room and just took off!! So now she walks all over the living room for chair to chair and chair to couch....it's the cutest thing ever. :) She is too funny.

I also have been counting to her, like "one", "two", "three"....and now when you say "one" she usually says "three"!! Yesterday she was saying "two". She's goofy.

She is so much fun. Andy has been enjoying some alone time with her which is great considering he's missed out on quite a bit!!!

Home from Vacation

Well, Ayla, the dogs and I are home from our week long vacation in the Waupaca/Wild Rose area. We had a great time. It is so nice to be home tho. That is how vacations are! LOL Andy was able to come with us for a few days in the beginning and then headed back to Alabama for about 2 weeks.

Pictures will be coming. I have around 400 on my camera...Aleigh has about the same number! LOL

Andy comes home tonight after being gone for 3 weeks. I am so excited for him to see Ayla and what she is doing now!!!! He will be surprised....they change alot in 3 weeks!!!
